New spyshots!

I may be alone in my principles, but I don't like this new look at all. I'd rather keep the $30,000 Honda Accord style than this.

Looks like black, Brembo calipers on the six speed model. It also looked like 235/45/18 on the tire side.
Things are looking up. Additionally, the seats were well perforated, has anyone heard anything about them being ventilated?

I'm with you there, the rest is okay. The steering wheel is nice, but it's really cluttered! I'm sure most of the TL buyers won't even USE the Bluetooth function!
Ok, what exactly is wrong with an e-brake being in the center console where it is intended to be?
I personally hate the foot brake in the 2nd Gen TL, reminds me of a Buick or a truck.

I must really tip my hat to all of the members on the TL & TSX forums who have been out there getting us these pics and info.
I guess it is confirmed that there is no AWD, correct? I know for a while there was speculation that there would be a model with AWD system similar to what is on the MDX.
Any idea what Acura is calling the dark bule color shown in the pic?
Thanks for the info and keep it coming!

I can imagine a news report and then a recall "A twelve year-old died today after jumping in the front seat and falling on the handbrake, which penetrated his lungs and caused severe bleeding".
What an awfully placed handbrake. And what about a middle rear headrest? And ORANGE LED turn signals? Gotta have the orange.....

I really like that color too and it was the one I wanted, but I want the HPT model and am not sure how the black brake calipers would go with the blue. I may be back to silver.

Okay we have all seen the photos already. But we still don't know any accurate information about its engine, transimssion choice, length, weight, width, price, features, etc. I thought it is going to be dubut in August.

the problem with the blue is you cannot get the black interior (ebony). any thought on the anthricite instead of the siler?

I forgot about Anthracite, I may do that next, if I do not like the blue with the black calipers. I have a silver 03 TLS-Navi now and totally forgot about anthracite. That may be the call if I do not get blue.

I own a 2000 TL. I have to honestly say that the pedal parking brake is a good idea, if you have an automatic (which it does). Hand operated parking brakes are necessary if you have a standard shift car and need to deal with pulling out of a parking space on a hill (or something like that). The only reason that I know of is if you need to execute bat turns.
The great thing about the foot pedal on the 2000 is that it frees up all this space in the center console. In every standard shift car I've owned, there's this huge rectangle of prime real estate in the center console which is consumed by the parking brake handle.
I've owned the car for 3 years and I think the design works well.

don't wanna make enemies here... but ...
am I the only one see this as a 6 cylinder TSX w/ a civic taillight and a minivan size steering wheel...
honestly I sure hope that my perception will be corrected...

I absolutely love the steering wheel!
I was so thrilled to see it retain the four spoke design. Personally, I like a thick steering wheel! The one in my 03 TLS-Navi is too thin. The car does make the relation to the TSX clear, but look at the Audi line-up.
I cannot wait to drive the HPT-Navi when it hits the dealer's lot!

I need a good advice!
I live in Maryland State. I narrowed my choices to MDX and TL, both 2004 year. Please, advice me what is better to choose as far as reliability is concerned. I know, AWD is always better especially when the winter is closing. Thank you.

I hope it shows up, but I think something that big would have leaked or ben released by Acura.

I'm not feeling it - the back end looks like a civic, and front like a tsv (as someone already said). too bad they had to go and screw it up. Actually I think almost every honda is uglier this year than last.
It almost seems like Honda/Acura is somewhat playing catch-up with the other automobile companies. A little BMW, a little Mazda 6, A little Audi. I does appear to be a slightly larger TSX though. If you want to company who has done well a promoting their cars, look to Toyota/Lexus. Even Infiniti sure is trying hard to break through. I like the looks of my 02' TLS. I am very happpy with the looks and performance of my vehicle. I am more of a stick shift person though, although the AT sure is nice to drive.
More 2004 TL pictures released
Guys,
I am not sure if you seen all of these new 2004 pictures yet:

Okay, I guess I've been out of the loop on everything about the 3rd Gen. TL. Since I have been so happy with my '02TLS I just don't think about a new one.
Is it my imagination or is the '04 TL looking like a TSX???? I'm rubbing my eyes here!
