Damn...you laugh at the guys with the medical condition bracelets....lol....what a guy! You make fun of people in wheel chairs too? I wish I could get my jollys off of doing such...but unfortunately....it just makes me feel bad when I do something like that.

I mean...I dont care that you guys are hating my shift lever....I kind of find it funny to see the haters come in and say their peice. Its all good. Like you say...its all what works for you! I dont worry about what people say that way...but to start to dog a dude with major arthritis...seems to bit off key and in bad taste to me. Is in big and clunky....yep....but it has to be given the amt of magnetism that I need to deal with the pain I experience on a daily basis. (6000 gauss per each link) So to call me a pimp....gee...thanks guy! No...more like a guy with a medical condition due to many many years debt collecting and motocross to boot. Wrist injuries are no joke man....last for years and years and there is not a day that goes by that I do not have pain. I know you probably meant no disrespect...but I hear that shit too much from people that dont understand dealing with major pain on a daily basis... I lost my Mr. T starter kit years ago! lol.

BTW...funny you would mention tires....lol. My Deville I had before this car ran on Vogue rims and tires....which again...make fun of...but they cost a FORTUNE and are some of the highest quality tires you can get for a Sedan like that. I heard the pimp shit back then too. O'well...I guess if the shoe fits...wear it?

Anway...guess it just rubbed me a bit the wrong way that you would make jest at something that was related to a medical condition I have and seemed to have about as much class as laughing at a guy in a wheel chair. But I guess the wheelchair guy is a bit more obvious, isnt it. lol. I guess that why they make these things this way...so they are not that obvious....so I guess I should give you the benefit of the doubt there. BTW...thats why I was seeking a different design shifter lever too.....the knob on there really hurts my hand/wrist after about three hours...and I drive regular trips anywhere from 5-8 hours away....at times....18 hour straight drives....and this thing works great. No pain....hand sits squarely on the top...and its functionality to me is second to none. Wasnt really planning on getting into WHY I did this lever change...as ,medical stuff I tend to keep somewhat private...but when you go poking fun at a guys medicinal needs...seems a bit unfounded. I mean...what did I do to you man? Show you a shifter lever you didnt like? I mean...I can take the slamming and flamage, when properly placed, but to go that far out on a limb over what is a medical deal....seems a bit "street and pimp" yourself there sir. Especially from someone that puts "Dr." in front of their screen name? Or are you a DJ spinning records? Must be...or you would have recognized the bracelet a MILE away....
Wow, i must have really twisted your balls today..im sorry .. i wrote my original message early this morning... then you wrote something back at 11:49 am. then another message at 4:14pm...... then somewhere between that you PMed me....I honestly didnt know that you had somekind of medical condition, and im sure that most of the people on this site didn't know either that you had somekind of disability.. Unless somebody else has one, im sure that nobody knew that you were wearing a magnetic bracelet. At no point did you indicate this anywhere in this thread prior to 4:14pm.. i have even performed a search for "arthritis" on acurazine and it comes up clean..
You originally stated that you wanted to be different and you liked the old school look, and it felt comfortable for your hand, and your shifter was starting to wear.. You should have said "i drive my car long distances and i rest my hand on the shifter but it starts to hurt a lot, here is an alternative that i have found that works for me" That statement dosn't really say anything, but it is hinting to the fact that there could possibly be something medically wrong.. You obviously have read my post wrong.... I was clearly stating that 1) I hate your shifter 2) I like your bracelet and ring... At what part of "On another note, im LOVIN the pimp bling, now i see where all that CF shroud money is going " did you find offensive??? I even put a to indicate that i honestly did like it.... Oh and no, im not some kind of DJ spinning records, i am a dentist, i have a D.M.D. behind my name...and you might be sitting there thinking what does a dentist know. Well the same professors that lectured to us, also lectured to the medical school. So basically, i have a medical school education.. and no, we didnt learn about magnetic bracelets as a remedy for arthritis... please understand that I would never, ever laugh at anybody and their disabilities.. I am truly and honestly sorry if you took it the wrong way.. i was just trying to add humor in my post, i did not intend to come accross as being malicious..... please forgive me?????? but i still hate your shifter...

I do understand what you are saying...hense the follow up post stating it was truely my fault. And yes...I did read it wrong and realized this PLUS the fact that they dont really make these things to be noticed as such. No need for an apology whatsoever in your case....it was me that was trying to do so without doing so I guess. I am sorry for getting tweaked over it. Ya...I know people hate the lever...which is all good.....truely...if I decided to put it there anyway...I would not care what people thought....never really have to some degree. And yes...I just got a little tweaked at this whole site this morning a bit. Some damn kid from the HONDA site was chasing me down ALL weekend to take his money for a project I told him I wasnt sure I could do....and then went about running around two different sites acting like he was ignored. It was really nuts and the kid did NOTHING but cost me a LOT of money in lost sales as he went around spouting inaccuracies...that I would not answer any of his questions....then that I wasnt going forward with the project whatsoever. So yes...its been a LONG unprofitable weekend with some damn HONDA kid acting just like that...causing me to have to respond with booklong posts defending my business practices of just NOT being a "yes man" and taking his money and figuring out all the details later. Anyway....my fault totally Damian......not your issue. And no....I had not gone around nor do I go around talking much about my pain as I dont like to bring it up nor think about it. I am SURE this is the first I have mentioned it here on AZ anyway. I really try hard not to let it hold me back whatsoever....to the point of ignoring it and mentally blocking the pain. Takes a long time to learn how to do. For the most part...I try not to consider myself disabled....just challenged. There are people with WAY more problems than I have that I like to considered disabled! Again Damian...sorry about getting a bit tweaked there...when fact is....you meant no harm nor foul whatsoever. It was ME being overly sensitive about my issues....thats all! All is good buddy! And yes...I know....EVERYBODY hates this shifter....but me>:surrender But it works for me...and thats what counts to me!!

Thats why I put the follow up on there about my fault....cause you are right...most people dont know or recognize it as something that works that way and just assume it is a regular bracelet thing....which is I guess why they designed them that way. I have to wear such a clunky one to get the gauss high enough to make a difference to me...so it can be a little embarassing at times. And I wear a suit and tie about half the week too.....which can even magnify the problem at times.

Here is the back side of it.....or one similar...mine is custom made and has one HUGE magnet on each link instead of these two small ones due to the fact I need high gauss to reduce the pain. Benefits beyond the pain relief.....I hardly get colds any more (huge benefit when you shake hands all day)...and if I do get ill....seems no matter what the illness...I am back up and flying in less than 24 hours...lol. Something about this thing....Doc said it would help....but didnt expect some of the other benefits too? Kind of cool in that regards...

With the suit on and that bracelet, the only thing you are missing is the pinky ring. The DON MB!!!!
