I am taking the TL in saturday to get rattles etc fixed and try to get new seats. The dealership is having a sales drive so I get a new 146 piece tool set and a 1 in 105,020 chance to win a new TSX or $30k. hopefully I am that lucky person lol. Anyways I would like any more recent 04 to 05 seat swap recipts please!! the more the better! THANKS!!

I also got a letter about the sales drive. You can win a TSX or $30,000 there on Sat. I also heard that they are doing preferred pricing that day as well.

yea don't take it as anything 2 big, the back of the letter says there is a 1 in 105,020 chance of winning. But you do get a free leather tote or tool set And prefererd pricing, psh sounds like bs 2 me

yea doin the same thing, goin for the free shit and goin 2 get stuff looked at lol. I am goin wit my mom (it is her car). Not really sure when but probably like right after I finish the SAT 4 hour test . So I will probably be there like 1:30 or so. Anyone else goin? We could all meet up! Most importantly anyone else goin and tryin to get their 04 seats swapped for 05's or anyone who has had it done?? Send me a PM if this will work out for you.

I was looking at RSX's on ebay and guess what I came upon How has acura had these problems so long and not fixed them!!! Anyways anyone going to Performance saturday look or listen for me in my ghetto rice accord: http://img75.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img75&image=pic38lb.jpg I will probably be lookin at and RSX Type S and at the service department. Anyone going that needs to replace 04 seats????

so I talked to performance acura service department and they are still saying no. I kinda am seeing their side though, making me even more pissed off at Acura. Their answer was staright no, because their acura rep has said no and if the part # doesn't match the VIN then acura will charge the dealer for the repair. I then asked if he could replace it with an 04 and he said yea, but it is just gonna do the same thing. I am gonna try my luck with ACS, although I have not heard the slightest bit of sucess from others calling ACS about the seats. Anymore ideas? Has anyone gotten Acura approval? I think I am gonna try taking the TL to Leith.

Good luck at Leith. They are a slightly bigger conglomerate in the Triangle than Hendrick, so there is a shot...

yea I have heard good things of Leiths Service but I am gonna try to get phone confirmation that they will replace them before I drive all of the way there. All ready got an appointment at Performance to get other stuff fixed next week.
