After seeing the '09 RL at the Chicago Auto Show yesterday, I don't hold out high hopes for the '09 TL. The car looks more like a mid-cycle refreshening rather than a 5 year redesign. The dash looks similar, the hp is only up slightly and it seems like its most notworthy feature is cooled seats. Not good!

For those who still haven't seen what the 2009 RL looks like:

To me it looks like the new accord...its a shame....I'm starting to feel better for getting 08 TLS...but will see, maybe the 2009 TL will be hot.

I honestly think the only worthly feature I will find appealing on the 09 TL will be the SH AWD... other than that looks like my 07 TL-S will have to be upgraded to an 08 RL... unless they decide to release the 4th gen TL-S before 2011... I will def have to consider Audi when making my next choice.

At a quick glance the RL looks like an 08RL with a MDX grille.
The RL was never a great seller, they probably didn't put too much into it.
I think the TL is going to hot, maybe 100,000/yr.

Hope not but after seeing the TSX and RL it sure does look that way.

Not a bad looking car, but they have to get rid of the large V O L V O on the trunk lid. To all of the other responses, yup, they definitely ruined the looks of the RL. Except for the Acura grille, it's an Accord with an Acura badge on it. I guess it was cheaper to produce it this way, then to have a completely separate model. I guess I'll hold onto my 06 TL for as long as I can.

The new Acura corporate grill, seen first on the MDX and then the RDX, is just plain ugly and ruins the lines of any car on which it is placed. Remember the nose of the first Subaru Tribeca?

'10 Hyundai Genesis Coupe
The new TSX looks alright, but they could have done a better job with the rear end. Is the new TSX going to get a V-6? That would be nice for TSX owners.
As far as the new generation TL is concerned we can only pray that they don't f*ck it up.

Happy Holidays!
The 09 RL is on the Acura website now.

The pictures look decent to me. Maybe it's just one of those styling that needs to grow on you. It's starting to grow on me....sort of...

excited for the 09 TL
but its gonna be difficult to match with the 07s and 08s they've been real popular..
so hopefully Acura will put alot of work into the 09 and hopefully it'll be HOT unlike the RL...

Holy....! They took the RL and dumped it into a Honda Accordesque shell...geez! even Hyundai could do better!

You guys can discuss the 09 RL & 09 TSX in the appropriate forums on this site.
As far as the 09/4G TL- well you know where you can discuss that.
