New RJ Sport Design Wheel concept! (updated 3D pg. 3)

Ok, so it's time again. New wheel time!

Acura has a bunch of new wheels for the new TL, but RonJon Sport Design will be pushing the envelope as well. Here's the scoop:

-19" x 8.5" with a 40mm offset. Flat face profile for BBK clearance and High relative offset.

-20" x 8.5" with a 40mm offset. Flat face profile for BBK clearance and High relative offset.

-20" x 8.5" with a 40mm offset. Concave face profile for dramatic appearance and drop center.

-pentagon centercap
-Low pressure cast One piece construction
-$345 each for 19" and $415 each for 20"
-TPMS compatibility
-64.1mm hubcentric centerbore , Acura and Honda specific.

Starting development this month for spring release in 2009. Right now its in concept phase and I'll be posting pics of the development along the way. What do you guys think??
I think the name will be Sentinel or Revive

Eh, Idk Ron. I think they'll have to grow on me but just like all Ron Jons, they're certainly different. I think they'd look hotter if they were a little simpler, exactly why I love the RJ Ravens

It's a very futuristic design which will look great right now, but it's not a classical style. I think it would look dated five years from now.

That center area looks like it would either be an engineering nightmare or marvel.

Yeah, I had the feeling it would be split even on whether people will like it or not. But I know when its actually built, and mounted on the car, it will look phenomenal. We'll see if my factory can actually pull it off and keep it looking like this.

meh.... Maybe if you could put the prototype image on a 3G, would make it seem better....

Is it true that the 4G TL is 5x120? So you would design both 5x120 and 5x114.3?

Since it is a 1 piece seems like they should be able to mill it

I hope you don't mind constructive criticism but I'm not feeling them. I will have to see them on a car. Normally I am a fan of your wheels just not that one so much.

Try filling in the inner gaps (so the center is solid), then try filling in the gaps between the outer spokes. I'd be curious to see how these 2 design modifications would look like.

A little busy, but so is the 4G, in my opinion. I think they'll fit great on it, with the concave face looking the best.

Crazy design. Not for me but wheels are VERY subjective. I don't think they'll sell as well as your Legends or Inspyres but they will.

Agreed with everyone else its very subjective... I don't like the new TL that much as its too spacy and out there, and this kind of completes the look, some may like it.

So Ron, how about some +30'' for super concave faves and aggressive fitment?

It looks a little too busy, but yet kinda matches the G4s. I personally won't be getting these though, much prefer how the Inspyres and Legends looks instead.

Looks like honey comb. Don't like em, I think the Devotions and Legends are the best so far. You should try to get away from the 5-spoke design, i'd like to see what you can do with 7-10.

For the 4g TL I think they look good. Busy wheels for a busy car design. I also like the 5 spoke look, especially when they are rolling.

Looking at them again I think they make the car look smaller (which is needed). The design almost makes the inside five holes look like the lug nuts. I kind of like them on this car. And since I enjoyed the test drive of the 09 I might need to get something else to make it look better. Please spend some time developing a body kit for this car. I like Acura's kit but I think you could do much better than them. At least give us a teaser concept. I parked my car next to the 4g and it seems that the hood/window line on my car is at the level of the crease on the side of the 4g. This car needs to have something done to make it seem smaller.

Ron, I know this might have been discussed before but I'd love to see the 02-03 TL-S 17" OEM wheels in 19"~20" iterations

i agree with others, it does look "busy" .... but as with any wheel, once on the car, will look 10x better

What finishes will you be offering? These are obviously 1pc cast wheels... gravity cast?
