Is this new pressure plate usable?

Just received my luk clutch kit from rock auto. There are a few deep gouges /nicks in the face of the pressure plate. Would you return it or just lightly sand down any high spots and run it?

DVDs are completely fine with more damage than that and you are worrying about basically a brake rotor having some scratches?

If you try to sand it you will make it much worse.

Appreciate your response. If it was a light scratch I wouldn't have asked the forum members. It's a few deep gouges with sharp edges. I've never received a rotor, pp or flywheel with this sort of imperfection. Hence why I wanted to run it by a few minds
Why would sanding the high edges make it worse?
