New owner, question about lights

Hello all!

I finally a proud owner of a CPO 06 TL, and of course I've been playing with the car incessantly and have a quick question:

When you use the brights, do you hear a "clunk" type sound? I was looking at the lights this evening and when I flashed my brights or turned them on, there wasn't much of a sound, but when I turned them back off to return to the normal headlights, there was a clunk. Not sure if this is normal, as none of my other cars have ever done this.

Thanks for all the help, and I'm thoroughly excited to be joining the acurazine community!

Yup, it clunks.

Our headlights are bi-xenon; uses a motorized cutoff shield that makes the clunks sound.
