New owner

Let me introduce myself. I just bought a 2008 TL w/Nav. My previous car was a '04 G35 sedan. I really loved that car but the lease is up. A new G37 sedan (the 09 replacement) is priced way out of my range. I was tipped on the clearance sale on the TL '08 model by a friend. Well, after a few hours of negotiating, I got the dealer down to $29,500. This choice was a no brainer for me as this car has everything but RWD! I welcome any tips or links to posts that would benefit me as I am a real car enthusiast & like to do mods by myself. Hope to meet some of you one day.

Geezer, since I'm at work, let me just say "Congrats" on your new purchase and your step-up to our beloved TL!

You'll get plenty of links for whatever you want on AcuraZine. Everyone here is one HUGE family and helps everyone out. Enjoy your car...just like one fellow A-Ziner told me when I bought mine-"Drive it like you stole it!!!"

PS-the car is so damn much fun to drive, you'll forget it doesn't have RWD.

Awesome and congrats on your new purchase. The TL is simply an amazing automobile. Time to throw some plastic down on it.

Geez, where do I start? So much to learn.
I spent a few hours with the manual. Very overwhelming. I'm an IT guy but even this is hard to memorize in one day
How do I know if my nav DVD is current?
How do I upload my phonebook? That option is greyed out after pairing (A900M).
That's all for now. Thanks for the warm welcome.

Congrats on your purchase. As people have stated, and you must be fully aware of being the car enthusiast that you say you are, get ready to empty out your wallet. You wont find a better place for information then Acurazine.
