Wanted to get everyone’s take on this.

My build date is the 31st of this month and have read on the forum that we can expect a new update to the nav software soon.

I don’t think its right to sell someone a nav system with software that will expire in a month. Do you? Does anyone know for sure then the update is scheduled to be released? Should new buys expect a free upgrade?

 

It is my understanding that the current software 3.30F won't be replaced until the summer or the fall. This is indicated at www.acuranavi.com (after you fill in the make and model you can look at the frequently asked questions).

I gather that the last software update added a fair bit of functionality and that the next software update will probably just update some of the maps. I believe the current sofware was released in the fall.
