New Member Thread

New member here. Just bought a 2007 TL Type-S.

I'm a previous owner of a 2005 g35 coupe. I was about to buy another g35 until I test drove my Acura. I was so impressed with all aspects of the vehicle, I decided it was time for a change.

Looking forward to contributing to the community.

I'll upload car pics tomorrow am.

Welcome to owning a car that doesn't sound and feel like a 900 pound cheese grater.

J series FTW! VQ FTL!

Scratch the "not" out of that!

Again, is there an edit button somewhere?

Thanks!

As for mods... I'm snooping around the forum trying to get some ideas. I'd like the exhaust to be a bit louder, and I've found a thread for that.

Otherwise, I'm really happy with the stock setup... suspension, brakes, wheels, clutch, transmission, interior, exterior... i dont have any complaints.

More horsepower is always nice to have, but I havent seen any bolt-ons that do much and I'm not about to put a turbo on it.

A few more days and posts and you can put it up for sale in the Black Market section.

Welcome, car looks dope! Now its time to clean those exhaust tips which really adds to the "look" of the car. I recommend the use of stainless steel wool, Brasso metal polish, and water. My tips were horrendous, and after using this method they are new again. I've also read that Barkeepers Friend is a good metal polish as well. Have fun!

Congrats on the Type-S! Are your splash guards paint-matched because they really go with the car.

Did you get the manual or the automatic?
