I just picked up an 08 TL in Carbon Bronze Pearl with 40k and I have absolutely fallen in love with it! It has made my 80 mile/day commute as fun as it possibly could be.

I'm researching into a set of springs to kill some of the body roll... but living in Chicago with the insane winters we have somewhat limits me!

congrats on your pick up. i'd research a set of coilovers, instead of springs. check out the suspension section of the forum and decide for yourself.

post some pics. we love pics.

I would LOVE a set of coilovers, but unfortunately in a new marriage and the terrible chicago roads... it probably wouldn't be a good fit

My Tein S.tech springs seemed to have no effect whatsoever on body roll. Kind of a let down but it's mostly for looks anyway. Listen to Shark he knows his chit mang.

Oh ya CBP ftw pimpin!

coilovers can be had anywhere from $600-$1000...you can also check the black market section of the forum. that's where we buy/sell/trade new/used parts. i would DEF get coilovers the first time around. what is your reasoning behind the chicago roads? roads are terrible for a lot of people in a lot of places and we all do just fine with coils.

regarding your fresh marriage, congrats...and read this thread if you fall into the category.

But Welcom to A-ZINE! I'm pretty sure you'll fall in love with this site as much as you love your car.

Congrats and welcome! If you want to get rid of some of the body-roll, look into a rear sway bar first! Progress makes a 24mm/22mm adjustable one which is a SERIOUS upgrade over the whimpy 17mm bar that comes with the car.

CBP is a good color. Pics or die.

HTspec 1's might be a good fit and ride adjustable.

Heeltoe has a good suspension write up somewhere on here. There are quite a few mild drop options out there.

Welcome to A-Z
