hey guys I am a new member. I have lots of past experience with lexus and infinit, but none with acura. I am a bit of a tuner freak. I have done car shows with my G35 and it was in super streets readers ride in 2005. I plan to enter my Lexus GS in HIN this year. I love to tune and personalize cars, but my wife is not as big a fan. She likes the look, but wont go through the trouble. I want to try to mod her car out while she is away on a trip with her parents. I need some suggestions on wheel and tire sizes for stock ride height and a 1" drop. also what kind of springs are solid and give a decent ride ( ride quality is #1 for my wife).

as far as intakes, what do you guys recommend? I want to add a little growl to the car. She like to push her TL, so a little extra growl would make her happy. I like exhausts on all of my cars, but my wife hates any drone, so I think air flow mods will stop at a simple CAI.

If you guys could recommend some sites that sell performance parts for TL's I would appreciate it. There are some beautiful TL's on this forum so I am sure I am in the right place to get the best info. Thanks again

I've always been a big fan of GS's. I almost picked u an 02 loaded back in 06. It was 19,000 with no previous damage. Mint condition, frame was intact. inline 6 from the 02 was a great engine.

 

AEM intake is the choice here, go with the v2 for the accord v6, its louder than the TL's V1 AEM intake.

Exhaust, as far a freer flowing without causing drone, look at the ATLP J-PIPE, ads 10WHP and does not affect sound.

You have few options since you will need a coilover setup to retain factory comfort:

Tein SS, can go softer than factory and rock solid
Comptech Springs and Koni shocks
