Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself, I picked up an 04 WDP 6spd recently and I love it. Im very familiar with modding/etc as I recently sold my 5 year project, a 98 Maxima with a 3.5 swap and 6spd HLSD Sentra SER tranny... you name a modification and I probably had attempted it.
Im going to grad school so I wanted something reliable and unmodded till I finish school and can purchase a real project car. So far I love the TL, it has everything that I want in a DD.. RWD would be nice but since Im not modding its not that big of a deal. Definitely a lesson I learned with the maxima. My question is are there things that I should look out for at 115xxx miles other than your typical tune up? I recently replaced the timing belt and water pump and changed the oil with Mobil 1 syn. Clutch has not been done but is holding strong so far. Ive seen some people mention 3rd being a bit notchy if the factory tranny fluid was used.. 3rd is fine for me but sometimes going into first smoothly has an issue. Anyways, thanks for any help/heads up on certain issues. Hope to learn a bit from this site.

welcome grant thats a nice wdp you have there you lucked out getting it with a 6spd and navi !! my tl is also weird at times with going into 1st so im deff intrested to hear if you fix that problem. i bought my tl to keep as a stock DD and lets just say i could only hold off 8 months before i got the itching to mod her . enjoy the car bro

Thanks guys, yea I really lucked out with the 6spd.. just kinda stumbled upon it on craigslist. Im hoping I can hold out on the modifications... time will tell. I think part of it was I was so fed up with riding on coilovers that I was thrilled to be back in a stock vehicle!

Nice find. Seems like alot of people getting lucky lately finding 6spds.
You should come to the Charlotte meet this weekend. So you can see all the modded TL's and get bit by the bug lol.
