New Member Coming. Help Me Decide

Iam in the process of ordering a new TL,and just test drove a 6 speed to make sure I want the automatic.
Heres the thing the m/t is much more responsive than the a/t and probably funner to drive, but this car is going to be my business machine and I am not sure I want to be shifting all the time. And one other thing is I have a 500 hp cobra that has a clutch and 6 speed that is worlds different from the TL and it was verh difficult for me to adjust to the smooth&refined clutch/tranny combo that the t/l offers to the notchy monster I am used to shifting.
ANY ADVICE.
THANK YOU.
JOHN

I’m bias towards the 6 MT. I think that the improvement in brakes (Brembos) and performance with 6 MT is worth it.

But again, consider the source, I did order the MT myself

i personally like the 6MT but if you are going to use this as a business car and don't want to worry about shifting then go with the auto. although i can't see it being that much extra effort.

I GUESS THE MAIN THING I AM CONCERNED ABOUT IS THE BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 2 STICK SHIFT CARS. THE CLUTCHES ON THE 2 CARS ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT AND I DONT KNOW IF I WILL ADJUST TO IT OR NOT.

if that's all you concerned about then get the stick. the clutch is smoother on the TL and you will get use to it fast. its probably more forgiving than the cobra(i am assuming). i thought you were worried about being stuck in traffic and having to shift. alot of people complain about this and opt for the AT. i personally love the 6MT and don't care about being stuck in traffic at all with the 6MT. the engine on the TL is reallt nice, decent torque curve (not like your cobra of course) but i would hate to see you not get a chance to really play with it on an AT. i got an auto on my last car and i swear i will never do it again. to me its basically steering and not driving.
