Smile New Here :)

Hey all, I am new here. Just want to get a few idea on the new TL. Last weekend I went to the dealership and immediately fall in love with the new TL. It is sooooooo nice!!

I am in the market for a new car, I want something no more than $35k so I am debating between TL and TSX. Is the new TL giving anyone problems? Please let me know your opinions. Thanks a lot!!

Azuki

Buy the TL. It's a great car at a great price. I love mine.

They are both fantastic cars Dive them around and take a pick. Personally, I can't live without the Tl's power.

If you are already willing to spend 35K, and you test drive both there is no way you will want to get the TSX anymore. It's a very nice car, but if your wallet is saying yes to the TL, so will you

270hp definitely sounds very, very good. i will try both and see...does either TL and TSX lose a lot of value say in three years?

The TSX is new so there is no good info. Acuras tends to have above average resale value.

I found much more flexibility of MSRP with the TL. The difference between the two was around $4k, which makes the decision a no-brainer IMO.

Both are incredible cars. You can't go wrong.. The TL has it over the TSX. However, you can get the TSX with navi, and a few goodies. My bet is the TL, little more on price...ALOT more car!!!!

Thanks for all your info! By the way I saw Accord EuroR on Japanese Honda site, it is the same as TSX except the car has 220hp. Does anyone know when we will be getting that in the US? Or are we getting it at all? Thanks again!

Hello Azuki, and welcome to the forum.

Needless to say, I recommend the TL as the best sports sedan and value for your price range.

I agree with the others who have said that the TL is a much better value than the TSX. Don't get me wrong -- they're both great values, compared to other comparably-equipped cars! But considering the price difference between the TL and TSX is only around $6,000, I would say go with the TL, unless you absolutely can't afford the extra $$. I did.

Again, the best advice is to test-drive them both and see for yourself. I drove the TL first, and then the TSX, and in my mind, there was just no comparison. You're getting a lot more car - not just in terms of size, although the TL is certainly bigger & heavier - but in terms of power, luxury and hi-tech features (like the DVD-Audio surround sound system, which is fantastic!).

As for problems, I haven't had any with my TL after a little over 1000 miles, so it looks like they've resolved some of the early build issues (like tire vibration & seat memory loss) that others have mentioned on this forum.

Good luck with your decision... either way, you're getting a terrific value and a great car, but my opinion is definitely TL all the way!

Resale value though... I kinda feel that TLs Resale Value is little lower than what i expect from a luxury car. Is TL a luxury car? near luxury? Well.. but then again, BMW 745i's resale value is crappy too.
