New guy with a few questions....
Hello everyone!
I just bought a 2004 TL Base, Black on Tan(?) interior. 100,000 miles even.
I live out here in the mid-west at the great lakes of Michigan.
Have had the car for 3 days now and so far I've been happy with everything.
I have a few general questions that may have already been answered.
1. What is the best forum for this platform? I noticed there are a whole lot of Honda/Acura sites out there but did not see a forum which had heavy activity in them.
2. What is the best adjustable coilover system for this car? I only have experience with H&R and TEIN. My goal is to raise the vehicle to stock height in the winter and lower for the 3 other seasons. I'm still not sure if I want to do this though.
3. I'm turning the stock wheels in to my snow set and really want to buy the stock TL type S wheels for other seasons. Anyone have them sitting in their garage?
4. What services should I be pro-active on at my current mileage? Trans flush, timing belt, diff flush, bushings, etc...
Lastly, I plan on keeping everything stock except for the suspension. I've maintained all my cars with genuine parts and don't plan on changing that. What websites do you guys recommend for parts?
Thanks everyone!

1. this (acurazine) is the most active forum for the 3G TL.
2. best is subjective. what are your goals for the car? (read the description of each coilover, and see if the features are for you)
3. there is a black market, here on acurazine.
4. if you dont know the service history of your car, you should complete all services.

+1 ggesq, there are a number of vendors that sell discounted oem parts on here, acuraoemparts.com and oemacuraparts.com to name 2. The TLs wheels might be hard to find. There are replicas for sale though on Ebay. That 105K service is the big one, timing belt, water pump, and tensioner. I'm guessing that you have a 5AT tranny and they are quite sensitive to say the least. You may want to do the 3x3 tranny fluid exchange and the tranny pressure switches if you don't know whether they were done. Good luck, have fun with the car!

The other guys answered with the same ones I'd give you.
For the wheels, check out this link:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/17-17x8-Type-S-Style-Alloy-Wheels-Rims-for-2004-2005-2006-2007-2008-Acura-TL-/360803349731?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Wheels&hash=item54018e34e3&vxp=mtr
They're replicas but not bad for ~550 shipped.
