Whats up guys, my name is Justin and I'm from West Hartford, CT. I just joined the board yesterday but I've been lurking for about a week and a half. I have purchased, and will be picking up an 04 DGP TL 5AT Non-Navi with 49k/mi this Friday that I got for a crackhead price.

I know some of the guys over here from the other board that I'm a member of, 6thgenaccord.com. My previous car was a 1998 Accord LX Sedan that I sold yesterday. A lot of blood sweat and tears went into that car, but I'm glad I'm upgrading.

Anyway, just wanted to say whats up. I'll post pics of the new car on Friday!

I plan on trading my 2002 RSX for a 2004 TL 6 speed also. I'm also from CT and I'm just wondering what you paid for your TL w/ 49K miles? In my case the TL has 98K miles my buddy which owns a dealership in town is willing to do a straight trade. He bought the vehicle from auction for $8K. My RSX has 67K miles on, so I'm debating on if this would be a smart move.

What do you guys think?

I'm actually going to be posting a thread on here shortly, I'm planning a meet with one of the mods from torontoaccordclub.com. We'll be doing a Canada/US meet the last weekend in May at Niagra Falls, and we're inviting about 10 other forums. I didn't attend the meet last year but I guess there was an ungodly amount of cars that showed.

Anyway.....look for it in the AZine Meets forum withing the next few days. Everyone is welcome.

You got an awesome price if you paid $9K for it. Makes me want to keep looking. The only problem is I'm looking for a 6 speed and I only see automatics for sale in our area.

 

Well, the story behind the deal is that my mom has worked at the same Acura Dealer in NH for about 11 years. She sold this car new to an old lady in 2004. The lady is now deaf and can't drive, and she was going to sell the car back to the dealer, and they said they'd give her $9k for it. Then my mom mentioned to her that I was looking for a new car, and she said she'd rather sell it to me, and that she's take $9k. The rest is history. I also have all the records for this car because it was always serviced at my moms dealer.

 

all the money you saved can be used for mods! so thats at least 3-4k
