Hey guys. I'm a owner of a 07 TL Base in Norcal. Had this tl for about 4 years. Previous owner had a front end accident and was repaired.

So here is my problem. The axle keeps popping out because of the frame damage. Should I find another 07/08 with a bad/high mileage motor and make it a donor car (currently have 75k on motor), part it out, or just sell it as a parts car?

 

Explore all the options, find the $$ number and decide then

 

How much to you have invested in it? Would be a good parts car, or parting it out if you have the space/time to do it.

 

As of now, i have the tl posted for 3500, but getting some low ballers. I've been trying to find a good deal on another tl, but majority of them still want around 5k for it. I'm not even sure if it's worth parting out this tl because there are just too many damages around the front end of the car.

I haven't invested much in it ever since buying the car besides regular maintenance. Unfortunately, i don't have the space to part out the car nor have space to store the parts.

Kind of have the shitty end of the stick then. Might have to bite the bullet and move on. Fortunate for you that you haven't invested much though.
