New to the forum. On the hunt for a TL Type S for a new daily driver!
Just thought I would say hi. I am on the hunt not for a 2007-2008 TL Type s for a new daily driver. I currently drive a supercharged S2000 and have a civic for the winter months but I am looking for. Much nicer and comfortable daily driver. The type S seems to fit the bill while still being a fun and sporty car.
Having a hard time finding nice manual models though. I am looking to buy one with low miles preferably certified pre owned so proving to be a hard find!
Anyways just thought I would say hey and hopefully will be a new owner and member on here shortly!!
Always turn my head every time I see a type s and just love the interior as well so I've got my mind set on buying one ASAP!

Open your search up and you'll be lucky to find them across the state, if your lucky, you may find it next door state. GL hunting. I'm still looking, been 2 years now. You'll see more autos and the color black.. not my tastes.

If you go to Acura's website, they offer a dealer search.
Just take the closest dealers (or however far you're willing to travel) and shoot a group email to the sales rep at each dealership. Detail what you're looking for with how many miles, trim, etc.
And make sure you state somewhere that you will not compromise or settle for less than exactly what you listed.
This should get them working against each other to find you the TL-S you're looking for.
A lot of those Acura lots have some TL-Ss sitting in them now since most of the leases are expired.

Thanks guys. Yeah I have been checking those sites out a lot. I have found one on Autotrader from a used car dealer but reviews on that place are not so great. I'd love to find one certified pre owned and less than 40-50k miles but might have to travel quite some distance for that!

Yeah I have been searching within 250 miles. I will expand that search and contact some dealerships as well.
I would love either white or that nice blue color. Possibly the darker silver color but really would like white or blue but seem to be tha hardest ones to find.

any color with MT Type S is hard to find, you either found them color of your dislike or mileage requirement. The nice blue color you are referring to is KBP (Kinetic Blue Pearl) or that dark silver is CBP (Carbon Bronze Pearl) unless you are referring to ASM (silver). Nice S2k we need more pics of that car and good luck with the search.

Did a 500 mile search on autotrader and only came up with 5 manual TL type S cars. They all had over 65-70K miles. Most in the 90K mile range.
Called one place up that had one fairly close and told me it had a clean and clear title. Went to their site, got the carfax for free and shows a right rear accident back in 08 so on to the next one.
I'll try and find another pic of my S. Don't have any with the hardtop on I don't think but have a few with the top down I'm sure I can find.

Found a few out in CA but thats a bit too far of a drive for me haha.
Pretty set on the TL Type S but out of curiosity does anyone know if the V6 09+ TSX comes in manual? Seems really hard to even find the V6 model but havent even seen a single one both v6 and manual with the navigation package or not.
Highly doubt I would get that even if possible but just curious.
Here's another pic of my s2k with the top down and a pic of the blower.

Do nationwide searches, thats how I found mine. One way tickets arent too much, I went from MD to MI for $100 and drove it back. Just be ready to back out if the seller sound sketchy. Hit the searches every day and like the guys above said, have the dealer keep a look out. Acura.com only does a smallish range I think in their used car search, but the dealer may have an extended range.
Very sick S2k by the way, I could see why you'd want to keep that as more of a fun car than sitting in traffic.

Yeah I guess I might have to look nationwide. I have some time to spend looking still. Still have a beater civic with blizzak tires on it for snow before I get a new car.
Hope to have something by end of the year though. Ell be a Christmas present to myself
Think I might pick up an older jeep Cherokee for the real snowy days as well.
Really think I'm set on buying one from a dealership. Yours does look very nice though!!

I got my 6MT TL-S last year in NYC . . . during a friggin nor'easter! If you really want a MT, you'll definitely have to go out of your way to get it, especially in a specific exterior and interior color combo pack.

Thanks man! I checked those 2007 ones and the only good looking one the first one with low miles happens to be in OR. I don't mind a road trip but OR to MA is a little too long of a distance for me.
The other 2 in NJ. The first one was sold already and 2nd has an accident on history and that dealership seems really shady from talking with them up and looking them up online.
There are a couple nice 2008's there! I'm just trying to find something that I could feasibly drive to to check out. Those are all quite a distance. If it comes down to the only way to find one is other side of country I will have to figure something out! Definitely want one but that could get expensive if I go cross country only to be disappointed by the condition etc.
