I guess I lied, they said 70w, but I guess it says stock wattage under it, so it probably is 55w. But they are still pretty bright. Here are some pics. I played around with the f-stop and shutter speed to try and get decent pictures, but I have no idea what I'm doing

By the way, the first picture is just of the box, so you can see what it looks like, as those are the old bulbs in it...

Thanks for the pics. My 7000k arctic white nokya's says the same thing. The box says 70w but the base of the bulb says 55w. I'm hoping it's 55w cause I don't want to deal with melted sockets. I'm probably gonna stick with my whites for now. I already tried 3 different brands of white and one brand of yellow fogs and I'm pretty tired of removing the stupid cold air intake every time...hehe. I'm good for now unless I see a deal on yellows. Spent like 80 bucks on bulbs already!

hmm...that makes me really confused because 6000k bulbs are usually in the white color range? At least that's what I gather from looking at all the different ones on eBay. The yellow Nokya's I bought off eBay were 2500k and those weren't even as yellow as I wanted them.

Sometimes I wonder if bulbs from ebay just suck or something. Because before I bought the Nokyas from a local store, I bought the Eurodezign 6000k bulbs on ebay. I thought they were dim as hell, becuase I could actually stare right at the capsule when I had them in my G35.

how come people experience different light output and different yellow even with the same bulbs - luminics, nokyas, eurodesign, etc. ??

Looking forward to those pics!

enigmaos: after spending about $80 on bulbs, I'd like to know the answer to your question too!

I bought a couple sets of the MaxGolds from Midnight Moose a couple of years back when they were still around. I was happy with the color but the bulb was loose in the driver's side housing. The bulb would vibrate and burned out after only a couple of weeks/months. The bulb in that housing was loose after changing it several times and the bulb from the passenger housing also was loose when I switched sides. I can only assume that the socket was very slightly larger on the driver's side (so much for Honda quality control). My solution: I took the rubber O-ring from one of the burned out bulbs and doubled-up the seal on the next replacement: No more rattling and the bulb lasted as expected!

Now, one of the bulbs has burned out and I don't have any more MaxGolds. I'll probably get one of the sets off eBay. I just wanted to share my solution for the loose bulb since another member here also mentioned it.

I used to use the PIAA Yellow Ion H1 bulb in my '97 prelude. I loved them because they changed color depending on the angle. They changed from blue to yellow. eautoworks.com sells the Ion Yellow for our Fog Lights. I would imagine they give off the same effect.

Me being a compulsive shopper lol i went out and bought some PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow bulbs, They look just as good, and bright as all heck. I really like it cause they also have a blue tint to them as you go higher into the bulb, I really like they.

Here are some pics of the box, and ill try to host some of the car tomm.

My Nokya Arctic Whites (7000k, 55W, or so it says on the box) seems to match ok. It kind of varies in terms of matching as the Xenon warms up on our TL's. The Nokya's do seem a bit more purple than the Xenon's after they've been on a long time, but only just a tiny bit of purple in my opinion. Barely noticeable. I'm happy with them. Got them off eBay. Got the Stage I (55w) cause I didn't want to take the chance with melting sockets. I would put up a picture but I don't know how to host it?

I bought 8500k nokya's off ebay, haven't put them in yet, but was curious because the box says 80w, and I don't want to have any problems. Anyone have any advice for me?

lol, just wanted to see OP's pix.. I also want to see someone with 4000-5000K matching lows and fogs from the front of the car, and from the driver's seat, with fogs on and off. I want to see how much more light you get with HIDs in your fogs.
