New Engine, new Timing Belt?
I'm hitting 110K on the odometer, but had the engine replaced at 40K due to a bent rod. When the engine was replaced (new one) wouldn't they have needed to change the timing belt? So technically I don't need the 105k service for another 35k?
As you say the engine was new, I certainly would think that they would use a new belt, but look at the bill to be certain as it should list all the parts needed during the install. If you can't see that it was replaced, you can eyeball the belt to see condition, or just get the job done if no documentation. Did they replace just the short block assembly and use your heads?

A timing belt is only $40, so I would hope they put a new one on since they had the thing apart anyhow.
