Last evening I saw a new TL ad.

Silver Nav 6 speed car following an armored car.

The armored car is spilling money in fron of the TL then the drived downshifts and passes the armored car to follow along an open winding road.

 

That's been on for a couple of weeks now. It's pretty amazing the number of different ads and the frequency of them for the TL these days. They're really pushing the car, or using it as the flagship car to represent the brand. I don't really see (or remember) ads for the RL, MDX or TSX.

And the ad push using the TL seems to be relatively new too. I don't remember seeing much about it via ads/commercials last year.

 

i only like the billboard that says..."REDEFINES ASAP" it's very simple, yet very effective....

 

I cant wait for a decent Acura commercial. THe RSX's new one is close to average. What they need is a smart commercial like the British "It's good whenever verything works" IMO that is one of the best commercials ever made for a car. Kudos to the Ad company an execs that came up with that one.

 

That ad is old, it's been out since October. In fact, there's a link to it in the "Comprehensive reviews" thread stickied at the top of the page if you want to see it any time.

 

do you guys remember the maxima commercial where it's chasing the sun..?
that was the best car commercial..

 

tl marketing sucks. all they do is show quick cut commercials of dorks driving the car. then all you see is about 100 shot of it from bad angles in 30 seconds. and will someone please tell acura that the tl comes in more colors than boring SILVER?
