Hello,

I've had my '05 TL for about 6 months. A few days ago, I discovered that I lost a bolt to a bar under my engine.

The bar ended up hitting the road and bent and now it's temporarily fixed with some wire.

Does anybody know what the name is of that bar and the bolt that I need to get as well?

 

Don't know offhand but try looking it up on oemacuraparts.com. Excellent searchability and decent prices on parts. If too expensive there try a junk yard. Good luck bro.

the bar that bend is the bracket that bolt up to the sub frame. You just need to buy new shield and replace it.

It's called a "Lower Engine Cover". The part number is 74114-SEP-A00. The metal part that's bent is a brace that stiffens it. If you lost the front bolt that holds it up, it is a 10mm bolt. There are two bolts, one at the front and one at the rear. There are also about 5 or 6 of the push clips that help hold it up. You can find them from time to time on Ebay, at a junk yard, or buy new from one of the online Acura part vendors for about $85 plus shipping.
