Thanks for all the kind words, and good wishes guys.
To answer a couple of questions posted... i did look at the corvettes, but none of the newer ones were around 40K, they were closer to 60K for the one i wanted.
The 2SS package comes with a bunch of luxury options inside the car and most importantly a 400 HP 6.2L V8 with brembo breaks, and a sports suspension etc.
As for the RS package- All appearance stuff those nice 20 in rims with perelli p-zeros, HALO headlights a back fin for the trunk, and some other odds and ends.
In regard to losing the 26 hp with the automatic... that will be made up mostly with an intake, and i just didn't want the hassle of a manual.

Understand the annoyance with the manual, but better rethink that HP increase with an intake. Also the M/T has a lower ration 3.45/3.27 along with a higher engine RPM 6600/6000. A lot of differences, but the A/T certainly does have a low first gear ratio.
