Talking New 2011 Camaro-Goodbye TL Type-S-Pics Inside

Hey guys, i know i haven't posted too much around here, but the zine has been a great resource for me with my Acura. You guys helped me solve a lot of issues, and gave some great advice along the way. Although, all good things must come to an end, and i recently sold my 07 white tl type-s for a new 2011 black Camaro 2SS-RS-package..

Here's some pics tell me what you think...

I will break your new car because you betray the TL . I can understand why you pick auto because I will pick auto for my next car.

Ha the reason for me for an auto is obvious...

1.i do tons of stop and go driving = terrible w/o an auto..
2.its a 400+HP sports car, it will go fast with a manual or an auto..
3.i don't care if you like your manual, you're not driving the car..

I learned how to drive with a manual car . i have driven up to date manual cars . Yet i have never owned a manual car. Any car i get in the future will have to come in AUTOMATIC .

i love how auto enthusiasts in general assume most people who buy sports cars know how to drive stick. I wonder if they ever thought that people have too much money to care about how their sports car shift? btw congrats on the new car, auto or manual ull defn enjoy it

Hmm i expect a new intake on the car within the next couple of weeks... or whenever i have time to do it... Then HID's on the fogs to match the HALO headlights..

Believe it or not im getting better gas mileage with this car then the TL. Due in large part to the fact that it shuts down to a 4 cylinder when it detects highway cruise speeds.

Funny i heard from the honda dealer a while back that some of the V-6 accords do that. Weird that they haven't implemented that in the V-6 Acura's >TO MY KNOWLEDGE< >THAT I KNOW OF<.

Congrats on your new car. I am not too fond of the new bumblebees but since it doesn't look like him and is in all black, and with that 2SS-RS package, it actually looks pretty sweet.

Hope you have fun with it!

MM, if I couldn't trade my Type S for a Lambo, the Camaro would be my next choice.

Congrats on the new car, but like others have stated, in a SS the manual is the way to go, mainly because of the extra 26HP.
Similar to the TL and TL-S when new, many purchased the TL with less HP and still enjoyed the ride.

Congrats on the new car. Just curious, if you've got $40k to spend, why not go a little further and get a Corvette? Or find a certified, pre-owned Corvette for the same price or less?
