I just traded my '03 Honda Accord LX 5sp w/ 23k mi for a brand new 2005 Acura TL 6sp!! The initial offer for the trade was accord + 22,000... I got the stealership down to accord + 18,500.... was this a good deal?

 

Does the TL have Navi? Is that the final price OTD?

 

it does not have navi, and minus the 1,000 MA tax that i paid... it is OTD...

 

I guess it depends on how you look at things... A 4dr LX 5spd accord trade with no side air bags, no leather, and no premium wheels might be worth like 13500 in trade so the deal was 32000. The same accord is probably about 17,000 retail. An 05 should be deeply discount and if it was like 35000 full retail, they should be knocking off 3000 (as long as it is not used). Not a steal but the dealership figures that they made 2000 on the deal without any headaches.
