Need your opinion
Need your opinion
Hi.
I'm considering to buy a car this month, and need your opinions about my choices.
1. 2005 Acura TL (base), navi, 45k miles, $22000
2. 2006 Lexus IS350, navi, 50k miles, $23000
3. 2006 Lexus IS250, navi, 35k miles, $25000, minor accident from carfax.com
Which one would you choose, and why...
Please help me out.
Thanks.

TL - largest rear seat (I drop kids off at school on way to work), fewest miles.
The IS350 might be an option if I liked the way it drove (never drove an IS before, but have heard that it's a bit isolated from the road compared to its competition) and did not need rear seat room. FWIW, the Toyota/Lexus navi units don't operate when the car is in gear.
No way would I choose the IS250- too little HP for the amount of money, and in this case, it's too expensive. I'd choose a 1st Gen TSX with manual transmission over an IS250.

I know about rear seat problem, but I don't carry people around. Maybe once a month I will put people in back seat.
So you guys think that I should go between TL and 350...right?
Still thinking...thanks anyway...

how big are you? the IS line is pretty small...and where are you located? front vs rear wheel drive may or may not be an issue. i like the look of the IS, but its too small for me and for that power i hear the suspension is way too soft. good luck
