Need some help....

Had to disconnect the battery and now have to enter the radio code. I have the code, but no matter what button I press, the screen repeats the display by spelling the word "CODE." When I touch a button for the fifth time, after the letter "E" appears, it shows error and the number of attempts. What friggin buttons do I press to enter the code????????!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, the manual is useless on explaining how to enter the code.

The manual is quite clear on how to enter the code (page 140, middle column).
It says you enter the 5 digit code by using the number buttons.

Either you have the wrong code, or there is something wrong with the radio.

If you got the code off of a card in the owner's manual booklet, you might have gotten the wrong booklet or it could have been switched for some reason while the car was at the dealer.

The code may also appear on the left side of the glove compartment, visible when the door is open and you are sitting in the driver's seat. Check and see if this code is the same as the one you are using.

If all of the sources for codes agree, and it still doesn't work, then the radio may have been switched. You should take it to the dealer and let them try, and if they fail, they will probably know how to solve the problem, most likely by getting the radio serial number and checking with Acura for the correct code.

By the way, there is an edit button at the bottom that you can use for about 20-30 minutes to edit your text, and since your two posts are only one minute apart after submitting the thread, this would have been the way to go.
