NEED SOME ADVICE WITH a SCRATCH
NEED SOME ADVICE WITH a SCRATCH
hey guys, i was parallel parking and i hit my back bumper againt the plate of the car behind me...
i have a white TL, and it gave this weird scratch...
3 of them, verrrrry small,
are the TLs paint covered by like plastic wrapping?????? the 05s
its really hard to describe, but imagine yhou have a DVD case, which has the plastic cover right? and you created a TIIIINNY hole, and the perimeter of your hole for some reason is black, if it wasnt for that black circle you wouldnt be able to tell...
i hope im makig some sense,
now if that made sense... how the hell do i get rid of it, i guess i cant get rid of it but just make it not noticeable....
sigh thanks guys.
i only have 1300 miles on it...
ive never drive in the city before, i was always in the suburbs so there was no need for parallel parking, no need, never taught, AHHH
thanks in advance

Get some touch up paint (in a pen if you can find the color match) here is a link
If not the touch paint from the dealer would do, get a book of matches, take one out of the pack, turn it over ( not the striking end) and use that as brush to apply the paint...small amounts of paint 'till you build it to the same level as the non scratched surface...a little work and patience will make this go unnoticed.
Don't forget to wax the area once is dried...good luck

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT USE TOUCH UP PAINT it sucks i dosent match at all just take it to your dealer i took my big scratch there and they was like they could fix it for like 100 but mine was big and they were like if it was little stuff they would have done it free
ohhh sorry guys, i just looked at it again in the light...
and it looked strange because, i guess i backed in to a screw? or something, so the paint came off in a circle, with the middle not being scratched, if that makes sense...
