Need Seats

'04 TL.
My seats are torn, worn out.
The padding is okay.
Replacement seat cover from Acura costs $400 just for the lower "seat" part.

Any other suggestions?

PS, Have 250K miles - guess my but has gotten some miles on it too.

or since the padding is still good reupholster. You can choose your material and it'll look all fresh again.

I brought some seat covers from Groupon for about $28 when I gave my 2006 TL with 110K mi to my daughter. She's very happy with the covers and it looks great. Glad I didn't have to spent anymore. I would not spend any money than have to on a high mileage car.

make sure your seat covers don't interfere with the side airbag in the seat!

To the OP, take the seat out and to an upholstery shop. It'll be way cheaper than the dealer and you can get certain sections of the leather replaced rather than the whole thing!
