i got a base 2005 tl but i was thinking of doing a 2008 tl-s front end conversion now i was told that i would have to change my fenders hood AND front bumper.
could it be there has to be a way to BEAT around the bush...IS THERE????

its just the bumper & headlights from what I understand. the fenders are the same and hood is the same. You need to change the moulding on the hood which is chrome, yours should be silver. The fender sidemarker covers need to be changed to Type S. That sounds about right. Theres your conversion.

 

only headlights and bumper ... hood and fenders are the same!

 

If you just want the 08 Type-S Aspec Front lip, you can change the bumper without changing the headlights. No need to replace fenders or hood. But you still have to switch out the main and lower grills and add the fogs. The entire conversion will cost you at least a G no matter how you "beat around teh bush."
