Question Need opinion on spoiler.

I've been looking over the 2 spoilers and need a little help deciding. Which is better?

if you want a more luxury look, go Lip Spoiler
if you want a more sporty look, go Wing Spoiler

I have a wing, so here's a pic as a reference

If you need help deciding, then you aren't making the decision properly. It's totally based on what you think of the looks. I have the lip.... i thought the wing was a bit too large on this particular model TL... however, the wing worked great on the previous gen. TL.

i went with the lip too .....

i feel that the tl is already agressive looking in the back ... therefore ... there is no need for that big wing

that's my car with the lip spoiler...i didn't go for the wing because it would just make the TL's rear end look wider/bigger...lip is subtle...

Have the wing - hate it. If I have to choose btw lip and wing, I'd choose lip. Go with neither . . .

Changed my mind. Go with the wing spoiler. The one on the ebay pic looks exactly like my car...and it looks pretty hot with that wing.

I'd go with neither. In fact, I did! But if you have to have one, go lip. The wing screams Mustang.

+1 Spackletoe, Wings went out in the 90's. JMO. Though it does look good on the G35..

Depends on the color. I went with the wing on with the NBP. I normally don't like spoilers, but the car I test-drove was NBP w/wing and it looked awesome. Now I when I see a NBP 3TL w/o a spoiler I think that it looks naked in the back.

Have the wing on GS-R - hate it in a winter. Now is easy with this year snow.

I like the lip myself, I just think it makes for a cleaner look.

You're right... the lip does look kinda nice.... Maybe a lip along w/ some splashguards?

So the lip just mounts w/ tape huh? Saves me a lot of trouble w/ installation then. How long until the tape cures? It's averaging about 30-40F lately... should I wait until it gets warmer before I attempt a lip mount?

I'd go for the lip, but the wing isn't too bad either

I agree that the lip is classy and the wing sporty. I like to see the add on clerarly so I'm thinking wing. ???question is the spolier you listed from ebay OEM factory? That price seems to hard to believe. Let me know how the spoiler looks

spoilers

You cannot really see how the spolier looks when driving the car. It does not provide any real function.

Use the cash for a tire up grade or a cat back. That you will feel

Remote starters, spoilers, body kits... . Spend your money the way you want, but I prefer to put in into something that will make the car perform better.

In my mind

brakes
tires
intake
suspension
exhaust

You got coin to blow after that than go for the fluff

I don't think it needs it. The TL already looks very aggressive from the rear IMHO.

Lip gives it a clean sporty look and not over done. If you have the A-spec kit then the lip spoiler will be the cherry on top!!!
