Need help with matching paint...
So I've been on the fence about what color to clear my headlights for quite some time...
1) I've contemplated just doing the straight black... meh. played
2) I've contemplated leaving them chrome... eh... boring.
2) I've contemplated taking them apart and have the chrome pieces "black chrome tinted"... still like the idea, but think it'll look funny partially tinted with the frame already black... and I don't wanna buy another set of headlights to make that happen.
3) I've contemplated color match... but thtink that would be too much on WDP...
So I think I've settled.
I'm gonna paint the interior of the headlights the color of the lower A-spec lip... That silver metallic look. Nice contrast on the WDP, ties the front lip to the headlights
So...
Does anyone have a color for that color? Or a suggestion for a nice spray that matches?

How about trying Anthracite? I'm not 100% positive it's a match tho - but I'll bet we can find an Anthracite owner with a front Aspec lip......... (Checking in the photo gallery now)

It's close but not perfect............
I'm sure Duplicolor must have something closer - I'll check tomorrow as I have to make a stop at the local AutoZone for some supplies......

Yes, I have been contemplating the same thing! (Funny how we think alike sometimes) I wanted to do something different than the standard fare. I just don't want to screw it up. I have been very close to settling on blacking them out something like the way darksom has them. I know I can get them to look just as good.
Black chrome tinted was an option I've been seriously considering since I think it will look great on my anthracite. (not to mention your WDP) I have rockblockers so I have this smoked out look going. There should be something in the new line of specialty duplicolor products to fit the bill. Definitely something nobody has done. I am just concerned of heat and aging. And if it will come out right?
I also thought of maybe A-Spec grey for a contrast. In my head I thought it would look nice. There have been a couple cars that have done the silver/grey. Not too crazy about it. Don't know who's car this is, (I had it in my "ideabox") but it'll give you an idea.

Checked it out this morning in the sunlight - the cap is a bit glossy so it looks like it's a little lighter than the Aspec grey - but it is still a very close match - I think if you use it you will be good since it's not side by side with the lip.
