I received the following sale prices from a dealer in Virginia. It has some 08 TL's with Nav for 29,900. I would use this for a pretty good reference and possible bargaining tool.

I think this should also help lower the prices on used TL's. Sorry to those guys trying to sell.

Can I actually get an 08 TL w/ NAV for less than $30k??? If so, its a great deal and I might be looking to buy one soon.

As anyone purchased for this or less price in the NYC area? Where?
(Looking for a 08 WDP/Ebony w/ NAV)

Right now, they also have a 1.9% APR for 36 months. Im going to see if I go to a dealer and see what I get for my 2001 Acura CL-S with 86k miles.

Thanks

I was at an Acura dealer last week in Verona NJ, looking for an 07 with some miles on it. They offered me an 08 TLS, with approx 5k miles on it for 29k even. I thought that was a pretty good price. It was silver with ebony interior, auto.
Just not the color combo I was looking for. That was the first price they gave me, I bet I could have gotten them down slightly.
I am also pretty sure they would have let new TL's with nav, go for 30k even.

A dealer in wappengers falls, NY told me I could get a TL with Nav, for 30 even, but we didn't really talk details. My thought is if I can get an 08 new for 30k, I should be able to get an 07 with very low miles for no more than 26k.

Rallye acura. That was over e-mail. I guess if you go in you break it down a little.

I would say a good price for a base TL is about 28k (based on the sale prices from the Virginia dealer). So add a couple thousand for taxes and a few hundred for other fees, and you are right about there.

Congratulations, on the new car.

I think it would be much easier for me to just go to a dealer and buy an 08, instead of trying to save a few thousand on an 07, which is hard to find.
But my wife has an issue with me spending over 25k on a new car. Especially since I was layed off a couple of months ago.

I guess it is good to have her around, I would probably have a new corvette and new TL, if it wasn't for her... Now that I think about it, not sure it that is such a great thing.

Autotrader.com

I haven't noticed this before. (maybe just me) If you do a search on autotrader.com for 08 TLs.
It will list a TL, then shows how many available at that dealer.
Some dealers have over 50 in stock.
I think it is a mad exitus for the TL, before the new ones come out. One dealer also told me that a lot of people are going for the new TSX instead of the 08 TL.

So I went to a dealer (valley stream acura) and they told me that $30k price is with the included $2,500 dealer incententive from Honda. This offer cannot be combined with the 1.9% for 36 month offer. So basically, If I want the car, it can be either of.

This is what he told me:
31k @ 6.5% (60 month)....he said he cant do the VA price...he priced in destination and brought it to 31k)
or
33.5k @ 1.9% (36 month)

This is with NAV. No tax included!

Thinking of going to another dealer and see what they say.

They can do 1.9 for 60 mths. I bought a honda accord for my sister last week from south shore(both owned by the same person). Told them I wouldn't do the deal without that. What type of tl is this base or type s.

when i bought my 09 tsx, rallye gave me the worst quotes

i told them other dealers had offered me qoutes nearly a thousand dollars less than them, and they pretty much said 'tough' so i walked out.

try jersey dealers as well!

It was for a base TL with NAV. Got a quote from Paragon for 32,260 with the 1.9%. I told them I wanted it for 30k with the 1.9% and they told me to come in and talk to them. Have a SAT appoitment.

I called Charles about the cars he had at his dealership in VA and the numbers are right. My parents are in the market for a new car soon. For 30k with Nav, that's a steal..
