Hows it going guys..im farely new to the TL...i have a couple questions..i know some say i shouldve searched this but i tried a couple places and didnt get a good answer...I got in an accident in my 04 WDP TL...insurance is most likely going to cut me a check..I want to order the TypeS lights..hood/grill..the fogs..pretty much convert the front clip to a typeS..am i going to run into any problems doing so?..Any help would be much appreciated...Thanks

 

btw..sorry if i posted this in the wrong section...i guess it can be moved to problems and fixes

 

type-s grill will not fit 04 TL. only 07-08.

 

so basiclly the only thing that will really work out are the head lights?...considering the grill has a big part to do with the bumper right?

 

I believe type S headlights need modding to work with an 04 TL. It is not Direct fit

 

Don't quote me on this but I would think if you converted the entire front: bumper/grill/lights, then it should all bolt on. The question then would be what to do about the fog light holes. Get the fogs as well? Rewire your fogs/aux lights? Then what about the DRL?

I'm sure someone's done it already, when there's a will there's a way.

 

thanks everyone..i actually found a post i made i guess when i was drunk and forgot about it lol...but somebody posted a bunch of pics of how he converted his and everything you have to do...hopefully everything works out..i ended up getting in an accident and crashed the front of my car..so figured i would get everything typeS...
