My sister has a 05 AGM TL and needs to get the front bumper repainted. Who has had paint work done in the greater San Jose CA area that can recommend a good place to go? The idea of her calling places out of the yellow pages scares me

plus, it is hard to help her out 3000 miles away

Milpitas body does a very good job. They offer life time warranty as well. I had an accident (2004 silver TL) last year. I did a lot of research on body shops and ended up using Milpitas bodyshop. Silver color is not easy to match, but they did an excellent job .......

If you going to have it payed by insurance I have had good experiences with Autobahn in Mountain View.

If she is concerned with cost and is paying out of pocket I have a contact who works at a body shop in the Hayward. He was trained at Rolls Royce in England and he repaired the front bumper of my '05 TL. I smacked it gouging the paint and surface and cracking it on the bottom. He structurally repaired the bumper and repainted it. Looked better than from the factory. He charged me $400. The lowest estimate I got from a body shop was 1,300.
CASH ONLY.
I did remove the bumper and bring it into to him though as to save some labor cost.

Sturken Auto Body in San Jose did my front bumper as well. Paint job is :thumsup: However, the fitment of the bumper was slightly off and the headlamp they replaced got fogged up. They have lifetime warranty, so I'm taking it back soon, but yea, they seems to be pretty professional how they deal things. My brother has his accord in that shop as he got rear-ended few weeks back. I can update the information how his car turned out after he gets it back.
