Need a Body Shop in South Florida

My poor NBP got rear ended last night. Broken tail light, needs a new bumper, needs a new A-Spec rear and worst of all the rear driver's side quarter panel is nice and damaged. I need a good body shop. I'm in Coral Springs, FL. Please if anyone has had any experiences with a good body shop near by please let me know. Gotta get my baby back on the road.

Damn Eddie. That sucks. I hope you didn't get hurt.

Did you get the insurance of the guy that hit you? The only place I'd recommend is Rick Case Honda in Weston, and a very good body shop down in south Miami. If you're gonna be using the other guys insurance, you can also ask for a list of authorized body shops. Hopefully one of them is a dealership. I did that when my wife rear ended someone with her Odyssey and JM Lexus was on the list. Of course I took it there to get fixed

I'm going to see the guy in south Miami on Monday. If you want to take it down there, I could give you a ride back. He's doing some custom work for me and he comes highly recommended.

I'm fairly certain you can get it fixed anywhere you want when it's the other guys fault. You aren't under contract with them to use any particular repair facility.

If you claimed on your own, it could be different depending on your contract/policy.

I'm aware all insurance companies would like to steer you to a facility where they have a relationship to use non-factory parts and fixed, quicky prices. That doesn't mean you have to go along with it.

In fact, if you got your Acura new, they included a brochure "What To Do In Case of an Accident". In that brochure, it urges you to demand genuine Acura replacement parts.

I know a guy that had his NSX roof chopped off (aluminum) and then rewelded. The shop works on ferraris and stuff usually. Let me ask him which shop he used...

EDIT: This is the site, tell him you know Anil with the NSX, John Schreppel and his protégé Ed did the work on it!

I second everything Trew said and I can vouch for that shop as well. I just had a side skirt on my RJ kit repainted and it came out flawless. Good guys to deal with as well, they do alot of high end custom work so they know their stuff.
