Need advise, out of state buying car from CA
Hello Guys,
been a member form long time but posting first time. I am from Canada and planning to get my uncle 07 TLS Auto in KBP color. It may not be a wise decision to get his car as he is in CA and I am from Ontario (Canada) but as he is moving from USA, I will be able to get a car dirt cheap or may be free. he is the first owner of the car and he maintained it thru Acura Dealer since day one and he take care of his like we all and don't even let his wife & kids drive his car.
It would be nice if I get some info regarding the title and paper work, I will be using shipping company & broker to take care of all the import stuff but do I need to be physically present in the DMV office in CA to sign the title of the car and pay CA taxes even the car is going to be register in Ontario and will be ship thru shipping company in a truck. reason to ask is I don't want to spend money to fly back and forth.
