NEED 2 KNOW who's car does this belong too???!!!

i decided to check out copart for a salvaged manual TL in preparations for my AT/MT swap and came across this car that clearly has Jnc headlights. I Just know this car has to be here on AZ. the webpage does not decribe damadge other than previous repair. I want to find the person who owned this to ask a few questions about why the car is at a salvaged car auction. here are some images and the link

http://www.copart.com/c2/homeSearch....SEARCH_RESULTS

originally i was gonna check out junkyards and such but buying a salvaged car has it pros...can get the brembo brakes and i can hook up AZ with what ever extra parts remain and make a lil money back. So does anyone know whos car this belongs to

I wonder what happened as well.

strange isnt it?

it says estimated repair cost is ~7k and the primary damage is "previous repair"

water damage maybe ? or maybe the engine is hydrolocked? if thats the case he should have tried stripping it first.

Just an FYI, it doesn't have to be made by jnc, I work on many headlights myself as a side job and that looks like a typical Blackhousing that any headlight modder can do. I often do headlight work for people who don't even go on forums much.

However that carbon fiber hood looks familiar, I might have seen it on a local craigslist for sale.... Yea im pretty sure I did because I remember the color matched stripes in the side. Looks like he didn't sell it cuz it's still with the car lol

Anyone else notice the filled-in A-Spec lip up front?

I recognize it but I have no idea who it belonged to.

There was a member in the San Diego area (iirc) that had a hood like that - CF with color matched paint. Don't remember if it was Silver (ASM/SSM) or AM though.

i know the headlights dont have to be from Jnc or ack. lots of people do it themselves in tiher own homes. BUT WHO IN THIER RIGHT MIND STICKS A FREAKIN SET OF HEADLIGHTS IN THE OVEN BEFORE BROWSING THROUGH AZ! hahahaha seriously thats the power of AZ its brainwashing

i think what makes this TL stand out the most is the painted hood

Looks pretty sharp! That's a good auction site although I prefer iaai dot com, they're just a bit more specific with the car's damage.
