Press Map/Guide, Menu and Cancel at the same time for a few seconds. Checkout the screen that comes up. I think the second item on the left shows you how many satellites are tracking you.

I'm sure you know that GPS satellites are one way devices, and they just transmit information, they don't recieve. They honestly don't track you; you track them to figure out where you are.

The US has a completely different set of setelites to track YOU.

Yes, the service manual has what the other screens do. mostly for diagnostics only.

 

FYI, the time the comes up under the satellite info page is exact, to the second. It's part of the info that gets transmitted by the satellites. The digital clock is also updated using the GPS time. Very nice! Only thing more accurate would be direct from the atomic clock in Colorado.
