I know our version of the navigation system has a secreat setup screen with a bunch of settings and diagnostics. I'm sure the 2004 TL if even more complex.

The old way to get into the secret screen was:

Press in order first, but keep holding and hold for 5 seconds

1. Menu key
2. Map guide key
3. Cancel key

Let me know how it works in the 04 TL.

It's not really a secret, because the service manual explains it all, including the functions the don't want messed with.

 

Any way to change the text that show up during the start up? The same message is pointless after first few times. Maybe some helpful hints or information on the car?
