Navi Icon Question

I just started noticing in some areas that I frequent, an icon that is shaped like a small red plus sign. Anyone know what these represents? I don't think there are any hospitals in that area.

And speaking of Navi icons, how come there are clusters of red minus signs around certain streets? I thought they indicated "no entrance" but they're not blocked off or one-way or anything.

(Maybe they're like video games where you can drive into them and collect points or upgrade your car or something...hehe)

I see them but they are always on one-way streets around Atlanta, or on/off ramps, or just "don't enter" areas in general. So far they are right.

I think the red plus signs are for hospitals. I live very close to a major hospital and it shows several red plus signs. I think, but not positively sure, that each building within the hospital grounds might have a plus sign. The hospital that I'm close to has several buildings and there are several plus signs. Also, I think the same holds true for universities and their associated buildings.

Duh.. I can't read.. red plus.. I thought of the red circle with the white dash that is a one-way or don't enter. ug. yes red plus would be "red cross" for hopspittal.

You were right, it's "no entrance." They usually show up when that zoom image comes up on the navi to indicate that you need to turn soon. I think it's just to help you out when there are a few right turns or left turns and you're supposed to take one of them...to make life easier. It puts a "red minus" where there's off ramps and one-way streets.

Yeah, i've noticed the red cross too, and I'm pretty sure they indicate hospitals (only logical, right?)

Exclamation Re: Navi Icon Question

Red Plus: Hospital-like building...

If you insist there is none there, it's probably due to the inaccurate data in our Navi DVD. It's kind of normal.

Not only this, sometimes I couldn't find the school it says or I'm right beside the old postal office, my Navi says NO.

Red Minus: The way you should not go...

IMO, I usually notice this over my direction by Navi. If I set up the Navi to guide me, in the multiple entrance locations, like upper/lower decks bridges, it will have this Red Minus sign (stop sign) in all other entrances except the rigth one I should go.
