Name one feature of your TL that you rarely/never use
#81
Never used/tried the HFL. Previous owner didn't know the password nor did he ever get it from the dealership even though he bought it CPO from Acura.
Local dealership wants $50+ to reset everything in order for me to use it and wondering if it's worth it but since most people with access to it don't use it.
Maybe its just one of those don't know what you're missing until you have it type of deals.

I never use homelink, HFL, spare tire, nets in truck, sports shift. I use the heck out of my tape deck as AUX until I get the isimple installed. My most used feature is a tape deck in 2012 c'mon acura ha ha!

Tape deck just like about everyone else, hardly use the heated mirrors as my car is in a garage, and homelink since it doesn't work and I dont feel like going through all the steps to get it to work. Hardly use my cargo net also.

Ok, I'm curious. Can one of you explain using the unlock button to drop all the windows? This isn't a feature I was aware of! I never use the cassette player, but HFL, seat heaters and heated mirrors see plenty of use.

when outside your car, press the unlock button on your key fob once to unlock, then press unlock again and hold for the windows and sunroof to go down/back. You can release the button to stop.

Now that i think about it. MY garage door motor ( PA home ) is old and perhaps should be replaced with a more modern one. Maybe then i'll use the home link more often

My car game with the previous owner's phone already synced, all I had to do was delete it. When it asks you for a code, that can be any number (I used 1111) and you type it into the phone during the sync process.

When I scroll to HFL on the MID and hit talk it asks me for a 4 digit password. Tried "0000" "1111" "1235' and my 4digit nav passcode and nothing has worked. Acura says the only way to get around it is a complete reset.

Have never used the:
- Tape Deck
- Trunk lock button in the glovebox
- Sunglass holder
- Change holder
- HFL
- Spare & jack
- Resturant ratings capability
Going to engage in getting the HFL to work.

I think I'm just beating a dead horse when I say I've never used the tape deck, trunk lock, and sunglass holder.
And I bet Acura thought they were being so clever when they decided to put these things in lol

Would be nice to just be able to do it with the remote though.

Tape deck. I think it's been 15 years since I ever even used a cassette tape. Not that surprising, seeing as how CDs have been around since before I was born.
On a side note, where is this sunglasses holder that people keep saying they don't use?

Umm I don't use the CD player, homelink and sport tiptronic auto thingy.
I DO USE HFL, I get mad that ppl still drive when their cars have HFL. They drive horribly and are dangerous.
I most def. use the tape deck for AUX adapter, heated seats(in the morning), heated mirrors, Navi !! Cruise for sure!!

^I would like to know about this sunglasses holder as well! Someone post a picture or something. It's not that stupid rubber pocket that clips into the lower door pocket is it? I ditched my drivers side one cause I would rather have my sun-shade there (since I use it 99.9% of the time).
Wha?

L gear, tape deck, coin holder - I tried to use it, but it keeps falling out of its holder, aux jack, heated mirrors, sunglass holder, remote trunk lock, tilting rear view side mirrors (I use the back up camera).
And, yeah, I wish I could roll up the windows with the remote. My '95 Maxima could roll down the windows with the remote, but didn't roll them up either. You would think someone would have figured this out by now.

Don't know why they didn't design it so that if you press the lock button twice and hold it down the second time it will roll up all the windows until you let go. Makes sense to me.
Maybe I'm missing something about why the key should be in the door lock instead.
