As you can see, adding the tape deck was a great idea by Acura.

Tape deck, sun glasses holder, cruise control.

I've used just about every feature, even heated mirrors and tape deck (only a few times). The exception is HFL. Never used that yet. Set up the phone the day I bought the car and haven't touched it since.

That and the fact that most car makers put HDDs instead of solid state drives in vehicles makes me wonder if they are ignorant towards technology.

I have never used the tape deck. Don't use HFL. Other than that I pretty much use everything.

And where is this sunglasses holder you all speak of?

One option (or rather feature) I don't use is the swing open map pocket thing in the door panels. Fawkers open by themselves when door slams shut.

I use every feature on the TL-- HFL daily, tape player once a month, mirror heaters when moisture fogs them on cold mornings-- during the year enough to justify them, except the SportShift, which is used no more than 6 times a year.

I listen to Milli Vanilli in my tape deck every day

I never use the tilt mirror feature, or the HFL (too much work).

I've used the pass-through back seat like twice in 8 yrs. A true fold down rear seat would have been much more useful.

Used everything but the Cassette player. The heated mirrors I only use when they are iced over and for a short period of time cause I heard the mirror can get burn marks if you leave them on too long.

But they are not unaffordable. And in this case cost is irrelevant twords functionality. Anyone who understands how volatile an HDD is would realise putting it on a car, an object constantly shaking and jolting, is a bad idea.

Agreed. I doubt people use for its intended purpose... Most (if not the majority) just use it for an AUX adapter

but there is something that I never used since 6 years.
The trunk lock in the glove box.

Has anyone?

You know, I'm reading through this thread and seeing what you guys DON'T use (ie: HFL, Nav commands, etc...).

If you're not using this stuff, you're not maximizing the TL experience!

Hell, even though I'm a disc jockey here in Kansas City, I still got XM-I wanted everything that the car had to work.

Yeah I'm sure these car engineers don't know crap about technology

It's cost, if you're building thousands of cars and lets say a 10gb HDD cost 3 bucks a car vs a 10GB SSD which cost 6 bucks a car. Guess which one they're going to use?

cost plays a big role yes, now you got to remember starting in 2004 SSD werent even around yet to the public. When they were first being sold, for just 10gbs cost was probably around $300 or so. Dont quote me on those exact prices but im sure im close.

Back on topic, i actually dont use the cigarette lighter in the arm rest compartment thinking about it i dont use either one(nonsmoker) and sliding lid of the armrest.
