But I just learned recently that AZINE or any other time consuming "GUY THING" is not the issue. Its her security that matters most to her....and no I don't mean financial security... I mean relationship security.
Essentially all she needs is to "FEEL" (this is the key guys she has to "FEEL IT" not just "KNOW IT") that she is more important to you than AZINE or anything else in your world.
In which to us guys.... the simple answer is : OF COURSE SHE IS MORE IMPORTANT. But we don't make her feel it. (and the crazy part is that most of us think we know how to make her feel special, but we are completely OFF BASE. Women are completely different creatures)
I wont get into details & bore you guys who really don't want to hear this, so here is short version of that part : (please keep in mind that I don't have anything to do with this book, just a book I picked up to better understand women... LOL Its pretty straight froward with no BS... just the way I like it.)

my gf used to like my car until i became obsessed with it thanks to acurazine. she hates when we park a mile away from everything, hates when i put my car in shows because she gets bored easily and doesnt understand that my car has been entered so i dont want to and cant leave after an hour. hates meets wants to leave as soon as we get there. so now we take her car everywhere and she finds something else to do while im doing my "car things" women need to understand that this is a hobby, they like shopping, makeup, cooking, cleaning, doing laundry etc. which takes up alot of their time. we dont enjoy these things so we leave them alone while they do them they should be able to do the same for us

on a more serious note: best advice i can give about getting the wife off your ass about AZine, if she starts getting upset, close the computer right away (your internet isn't going to magically disappear) and pay attention to her for a bit. once shes satisfied you can go right back on and those threads will still be there. Hell, most of the time there is new responses or new threads (which you were refreshing over and over previously waiting for anyway) to look at. Do it for a bit and most of the time you'll only be away from it for 10-15 minutes giving her some attention, keeping your wife happy is gonna keep you happy.
Try to spend time on it when shes occupied too, don't leave her sitting there bored out of her mind when you can wait 1 hour for her show to come on and hop on uninterrupted.

I get my AZ fix during the day at work, as I can. I do get on some at home. My wife has her evening soaps and I have AZ, kinda works out, but I do hear the same thing from her saying that I'm ignoring her. Geez. Her soaps are in Spanish too, so I don't even understand them.

My wife hasn't had a problem with my Azine (or internet surfing). In the past she has told me that I was obsessed with my car, but I think she didn't quite understand how much I was into cars.
When we watch TV in the evenings, we often watch different shows and I usually watch TV on our home office and surf the net at the same time.
But one thing is certain here. I could be watching the best football game ever and looking at the sweetest pics on Azine... If my wife walks by and gives one of her sexy, "inviting" looks... All of this immediately goes on the back burner.

Here's a forum that may suit her. It's called pricescope.com I think. I haven't gone there, but I do know it's about diamonds, women tantrums, and stuff about engagement/weddings. My wife was quite addicted to that site.

like i said, i told the girlfriend to find a scrapbook forum, she found one and now she is on all the time. this is her first n only experience with an internet forum n she now see's why i like cruising AZ from time to time. figure out her hobbies n there's bound to be a forum for her too!
unless she's just not into the online scene, which is fine. like other posts stated, wife/gf should always come first, bs internet time should be something you do on your own if said girl has an issue with it. good luck!

I'm learning the hard way. She got her haircut and dyed yesterday so I got 3 hours on here but I got off and started cleaning when I heard her pull up. She nearly had a heart attack when she came in.

i need to learn some tricks from you guys, can't even spend 5 mins alone with the car without getting hosed down from the garden hose by my 2 year old boy. i take him inside and my wife put him back outside. only if they have a water hose at work, i'd be washing my car at work in peace.

AZ is my version of FB and MySpace.
Although I make a point of spending at least 30 minutes of uninterrupted quality time with her every day after work. I would try to do the same, next time come home with movie tickets or flowers.
