My Trip

Hey guys! Im relatively new to the Acura TL Type-S and i just finished my first road trip with the car. I went from Dallas, Texas to Omaha, Nebraska. Total distance, oddly enough, was 666 miles, averaged 68 mph while getting 29 mpg. Total time was 9 hours 28 minutes. Was really happy with how the car handled on the road over a long time, while also being loaded, both trunk and back seat were full. Just thought I'd share my trip and the measurements that I ended up with.

I drove from Chicago to Dallas and Houston about 3 weeks ago. Really long drive, but fun! Unfortunately it wasn't in my TL

Getting ready to head up to Door County Wisconsin from St. Louis. Looking forward to take the ride on a long trip. Usually take the wify's suv on trips but this time the TL and I are going alone for the fun of it. Plus she cant go. Darn. lol

I'm making a 2 hour hop to see my girlfriend this weekend. I'm going to see how much mileage I get too.

Awesome! Earlier this year my girlfriend and I drove from Raleigh, NC to Kansas City, KS. Here's the computer for the drive there, and yes we drove straight though...

We drove around the city for two days, attended the National Acurazine Meet, and then drove home. Here's the final trip log...

Considering we drove almost 200 miles while in Kansas City, 29mpg for the trip was great! I was at 102k and had yet to have my timing belt done. The TL is an awesome car for long trips.
