My New TL...immediate mods?

I just got my TL on thursday 6sp, Anthracite, no Nav. What a wonderful graduation present!!! and before the hateration begins... I earned this car in more ways than you can imagine...two B.A.'s, phi beta Kappa, and summa cum laude while on academic scholarship in four years is the least of it. Now to the point of this thread. I have some money to spend and its obviously going into the car. Im curious as to what people think my immediate and longterm purchases should be. the only thing im dead set on going getting done is getting the windows tinted (if anyone in the DC, BALT, NOVA area knows a good place to go for this and other audio and performance work please tell me). Beyond the windows tinted i want crossovers put on the stock speakers so i dont blow them out to soon and some subs in the trunk. beyond these few things where should my serious money go. wheels, CAI and exhaust and other performance goodies, A-spec body kit etc etc etc? lets say you had a hypothetical buget of between 1500-2000 to begin with and another 2000 over the summer.what would be your immediate and longterm purchases? any suggestiions or guidance would be much appreciated.

My New TL

To make a long story short since my previous post disappered into cyberspace. I have a brand new TL six speed no navi. Also have around 1500-2000 dollars to spend on my new ride. I plan to immediately get the windows tinted and some audio work down (TL needs more BASS!!!!) beyond that im torn as to whether immediately starting on performance goodies or visual goodies. a-spec body kit and some black rims. What do you all think? also if anyone in the Balt, DC, NOVA areas knows of a good window tinter and shop to get audio and or engine work done please let me know. Thanks for the advice and info in advance.

Congrats on the new car!

As far as your question as to the cosmetic or performance, it depends what you like more. Do you like driving agressive? If so, the a-spec suspension may be the way to go - if not, then go for the cosmetic stuff. At first I was only going to do the body kit for my car; however, I ended up getting everything done and I love it.

WHat you could do is mod this car as much as possible, and then keep it till you are an old man, would be cool. Get the Aspec suspension, get the exhaust, and CAI. Those should be the primary purchases. Then get the aspec rims(about 1k on ebay all said and done). Change interior lighting to blue, intsall head rest monitors. wire in some lower level fogs. Get a RONJON body kit. Get the rear stabilizer. Carbon fiber hood... Do all this over a lonnnng period of time. And dont forget the tint

i like the aspec kit better than the RJ. The RJ looks a bit ricey. BUt at ur age (teen) those looks are fine. Enjoy the car but save ur money and try to avoid ebay as much as possible.

Clearing headlights is still my favorite(for the price, if Aspec was free....) really cheap, free if you have silicone, and looks so much nicer then stock.
