My impressions

So I picked up my TL today as it came early. WOW! I totally disregarded the break-in period as I was on 287 North and hit 100 mph without knowing it.

Love it, absolutely astounded. The HP is mind-boggling and the sound! I did not get my DVD-A sample but I'll get it tomorrow. Got 41 miles as the temple where I got it blessed was quite a hike....

My salesman threw in all weather mats, trunk tray, splash guards, wheels locks and 2 oil changes...

Will post pics Saturday as the Benz and the MDX are prepped to be captured as well...

05 E320 loaded. I traded in my RSX for it as they offered me 2K above my payoff and I really wanted to get into an E-class at the time. I saw the E320 and fell in love with it but could not afford finance so leased it, so I drove that for a while. Then I saw the 05 TL and switched over to that puppy. So I guess my dad will drive the E320 from now on and take over the payments.

This TL man, had my dad shaking. he didn't want to get out and was so eager to learn the tip-tronic. He's like, "Dude, put the A-Spec pkg on this and its game over." So I guess I'll take my pops advice and get that done in a bit...

yeah ok 100MPH without knowing it...lol Officer was I going that fast well gee I thought everyone was just going so slow.

And I must say, some of your dads must be relics from the 11 th century. They should know a tad more about cars etc.

The E is no slouch with 232 ft pounds of torque at 3000 rpms... The TL is a different kind of car is all.

3700lb curb weight holds it back a bit. still pretty good performance for a good size sedan.

Oh of course the E320 has power to its acceleration no doubt and love that acceleration because its smoother but it doesnt handle like the TL on the turns. its weight is big but the over torque is great!
