The good news is I recently bought a red 2007 Acura TL type s navi with 32k miles for 23.8k which I thought was a good deal, and now I'm ready to add all the goodies. It's a big switch for me from Lexus to acura (more of a lateral move) and I have ALOT to learn. Ill be reading this forum religiously before asking and corky unorganized questions. Just to keep the forum in tune right now I'm looking at full exhausts, roof spoiler and any Custom DIY mods.

@rossv1 The color was the only thing I was skeptical about.
@truonghthe I just voted. I can see the MRP isnt the most popular color... I see this as more of a "challenge accepted" then to sit and pout about the color. This car will look great in any color if the right mods are added.

When people say get ready to spend some money, I hope they mean on tasteful mods and not costly repairs?

 

The only costly repair should be the water pump/timing belt at 105k. That usually runs about $1100 at a dealer, or you can hone your skills and DIY... 70k miles from now.

 

I have a Moroccan Red Pearl type-S and live near Ft. Meade. I hardly ever see MRP while driving around.

btw- Im trying to find the DIY part of this forum if there is one for little things like changing interior lights and exterior lights. Seems when i use the search option its just a bunch of off topic threads..

 

^^^since when Lexus using a TB? I thought they all use timing chain now these day, unless you have the older model from late 90s and early 2000s.

FYI search in Garage it will provide you with most useful information you need to know which one need to be remove in order to gain access to something.

Yes MRP isn't a popular color, and yet I still love the way it looks in the bright sun. Accordflex TL is looking great with that MT. BTW is your AT or MT?
