My Dilemma...
hey guys, So I own an 08 TL-S. it is near impossible to get my hands on an Aspec kit (save for bruce at endlessrpm) but even then I can't get it in my color. So on top of shipping to Canada, our crappy dollar, and the cost of repainting the entire kit, I began considering the base Aspec kit. I actually ended up buying an OEM base kit for cheap locally (its NBP/black).
heres where things get tough; to use the rear, I would either have to modify the exhaust openings to accommodate the quads (stock), or switch to a single outlet exhaust. I absolutely LOVE quad exhausts, however, I can use my magnaflow catback from my 7th gen v6 accord (which is a 4" round single tip that would fill the exhaust ports nicely).
another option i'm considering is to modify the rear skirt to accomodate custom tips, something along the lines of the LS460.
thus far i'm leaning toward using my v6 accord catback (magnaflow) with the base Aspec rear.. so now the question becomes, should i just cut the skirt and try to keep the quads i love, or use a perfectly good catback that sounds awesome? I could also use the magnaflow, and cut off the current tips and weld on new quad tips too...
decision, decisions..
can I get some opinions on this? what do you guys think? am I creating a badass sleeper (would probably debadge the rear except the acura logo in the center) or am I bastardizing the type-s? lol
any input appreciated, thx

its awesome how you always have a quick response, justnspace lol. both of those ideas are great... I have another idea for a rear diffuser that would be used with the base aspec rear.. but for now the main thing i've gotta figure out is the exhaust... not to start the timeless atlp/xlr8 debate cuz i'll either go with stock stage 3/4 or the magnaflow I already have..

Three Wheelin'
1. Sell the base kit.
2. Buy type s kit.
3. Find Azine member across the border willing to help out.
4. Ship kit to his house, and have him bring to local painter to paint.
5. Drive across border.
6. Install at his house, at local shop, or drive back to install in Canada (will cost taxes at border this way).
7. Return home to Canada.

you didn't think of that?
that's how most people in canada get their a-spec kit.
the only thing you have to suck up is the currency conversion
